Texas Pete, my tomato frog, has died. This is the last picture I took of him yesterday morning when he was fine. I found him dead at 12 AM this morning. I don’t know how he died and I’m heartbroken.

Something similar happened with my bearded dragon in January. Fine one day, dead the next morning. He had the same bowl. I’m so sorry this happened to you. It probably wasn’t your fault... I know I was doing everything exactly the way I was taught to. Sometimes things just happen. Maybe he had a genetic issue or something... there was nothing you could do. Please don’t be too hard on yourself. I know Texas Pete’s life was amazing & I’m sure he appreciated everything you did for him. I’m just sorry his time came so soon... if you ever need to talk to someone who’s been through something similar, my messages are always open... I’m so sorry again, I know how much it hurts :(
