For those who have studied/read the Bible. What’s something everyone gets wrong about it?

Ok, what God do you respect.

I'm not going to try to persuade you of anything because persuasion never works in an anonymous world, but love does. I could tell you that you are a good person and that you deserve a deep sensation of love from whatever man or woman you dream of, and you would at least think about that instead of my trying to persuade you to even think about looking at a Bible. And that is what the Bible is about.

Love is death, fear is life. Truth is always ugly because truth dies and always gives way to lies. I don't care what kind of person you are, but as one human speaks to another, I beg you to see for yourself.

Dunno why you deleted this comment, I'm happy to discuss my beliefs or lack thereof.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6fcK_fRYaI This is just a silly 8 minute video on Youtube at the end of the day, but it illustrates it better than I can on a reddit comment. I'll try to explain my thoughts anyways though.

We aren't individuals each seeking our own salvation, or earning damnation. We're part of a greater whole, where every individual is only a single facet of the same entity. I simply don't think I'm important enough to warrant the kind of attention that most religions give to the individual. In fact, I see religions as simply a more human way of comforting the individual consciousness, and letting them feel like they really are unique and that their limited perspective will continue to live on eternally. I still think that's true in a way, just not in the way that humans prefer to believe.

We simply don't have a concept of eternity/infinity yet. Humanity's perspective on existence is like that of a 2 year old struggling to understand why the sky is blue, and where the clouds come from. Eventually, something snaps inside a two year old's brain and they begin to understand that there's more to it than what they could ever have perceived on their own.

Ultimately, we aren't capable of consciously understanding the truth yet.
