Free/ reduced parking for 1-2 days

So let me get this straight. Northeastern, which owns all of the parking garages on campus, simply said, hey QIC, can you manage the parking passes and you can keep all the money from it? Dude wake the F up. The truth is Northeastern signed a massive contract with QIC worth multi-millions of dollars with Northeastern with certain agreed upon terms in place. This includes upgrades and repairs to garages, security, technology and the management of passes. So I guess you are correct, the money does go to QIC but only because they paid Northeastern multi-millions to operate the garages.

Parking in Boston does not cost 21k per space. That’s a bold face lie. It seems all other major institutions, BC, BU, MIT, Harvard - when they build new construction they build garages underground to not take up space and still provide parking to faculty, staff and students.

Not everyone can ride a bike to work. Some adults actually live in a house in the suburbs. Expecting to park at your place of employment, or school, or hospital, whatever doesn’t seem that out of the box.
