FUGA ATTIRE DIRECTLY INTO MOGSTATION

I really just love this generic apologetic attitude of "it's optional so it's ok" that continues to be so prevalent. From a community that has so many "artists" doing "emergency commissions" all the time because they can't pay the bills or buy enough food - but hey at least they "can't wait" to buy jump potions for all their alts, and have at least their main character be AFK for half a day in idleshire in the latest Mog Shop outfit that's released, minutes after it's released, regardless of the cost.

Actually, I would even let that slide, if the hostility towards some more sensible sentiments wasn't so intense. Have you done some math here? Take the Fuga Attire: a two-piece set (unless I'm misinformed), for a single character, that costs £11. Pretty sure actually making it did not cost as much money as they're gonna get from all the purchases, for starters (especially if it indeed was China or Korea or whatever exclusive, in which case it's not even actual new asset - I'm not sure this is one of those though). Then take into account the fact that our standard monthly sub fee, that allows us to have a whopping 40(!) characters is just £9. The entire upcoming expansion that adds a crapton of new for everything and everyone can be had for like £30. And on a sidenote, this attire is also one of those (again) that can't even be stored in the Armoire.

In a different light... StormBlood is on the horizon. The entire expansion is Eastern-themed, which means that's what we'll likely be spending most of the next two years in. On one hand, this attire (or at the very least a slightly different version of it, for example, idek, undyeable, not like we've ever seen such a distinction anywhere, right?) could have been a perfect addition to the limited time purchaseables in the Make It Rain GS event, you know, for a bit of extra hype. On the other hand, with an entire Eastern-themed expansion coming, it's quite highly likely that we'll get something rather similar (if not identical) to this one down the line anyway - considering that, the price should be even more outrageous.

But hey. Let's just shut up, because it's optional anyway. Why not give up on seasonal events altogether and just sprinkle the cash shop with some (strictly cosmetic ofc) items every Easter and Christmas and whatever else there is...?

I'm actually looking forward to them releasing Viera - to the cash shop, for a hundred pounds per character. I would really like to see the reactions to that.
