There's no method or system that works in gambling, except for when you're the one running the casino/table/lottery/whatever.

They use math and prove that for every million dollars going in, they'll make a million plus 5% (or whatever their cut for the game happens to be).

This means that in the short term you might see a big peak and be ahead for a while, but then again you might see a large valley that never ends.

No matter what, it will even out for you in the long run. You put a million dollars on that roulette table and see if you don't come out with 900k or less every time.

There are simulations for this type of thing proving the math.
