[GamersNexus] PlayStation 5 Cooler Design Review: Thermals, Power, & Noise Testing

Really good video and testing but I just wanted to say that people should take it with a grain of salt. The conclusion taken (93°C temps) is only from one single area in one especific game, an area where the player is supposed to play only 15 seconds of it was stress tested to 4000 seconds. Probably this is the most demanding part in the whole game where it was tested?

Like I said before, it's a good video and a good test but to conclude that the PS5's RAMs run that hot at all time would require much more testing (with other games like Demon's Souls, Spider-Man MM and of course actual gameplay, not only standing still on these areas). Even they themselves admitted at the end of the video that this test is very limited and these temps are not absolute.

If the PS5 RAMs are hitting 93°C at only specific demanding areas, then it's absolutely fine.

TL;DR: Just saying that their test was only for one especific area with only one game, to state that the PS5 RAMs are that hot all the time (which they probably aren't) would require much more test and data.
