Getting out of bad spending habits?

Imagine being in a position where you are earning $300k+ a year and have the discretionary income available to spend $11k on a Pokémon card, and to buy 50-100 acres of land ‘in the next few years’ literally, as you imply, pretty much as soon as you pay off of your student loans.

Do you have any idea how privileged you are and tone deaf you sound??

“Hey guys I have all of this, how do I not spend money like $11k on a Pokémon card like I just did??’

Here’s a thought, just don’t open your fucking wallet and take out your credit card when you have a discretionary and unnecessary $11k purchase in front of you.

In all seriousness though I wish you all the best in your journey through life…
