Being a female dev in a sexist but remote environment is ideal for OE.

I would suggest leaving the sxist environment, especially if you have other jobs you’re working at the same time.

I’ve been a software engineer for 20 yrs in the US and held positions in many verticals across the country and worked for several international top 100 companies. I’m a Latino male, for context. Rarely do I see females in the industry get mistreated. Honestly, I’ve seen them mostly get promoted faster than their male counterparts, at a staggering pace even at times. Also, I’ve seen some females have less talent and drive than their male counterparts and get more understanding out of management than males and get more chances to succeed.
