No, I have been bitten. The necrosis is extremely painful and the process to heal is long. It depends on the severity of the bite as to what works, but my doctor tried a medication used for leprosy, which I ended up being allergic to. I ended up having to repeatedly have someone carve put out of a hole in my leg daily. After a time we used stem cells to regrow the area. It was an incredibly painful and long process. To this day I have a slowly disappearing purple divot/scar in that area. I have no clue if others have this. Bites are often misidentified, which is likely what happened to the person who claimed to be bit multiple times, or an extremely low amount of venom got into them. My blood was tested so we knew for a fact that a brown recluse bit me.
