Going into publics now that the Quest 2 has dropped

That's why I look at the Quest as one of the saddest scams I've ever seen.

The reason is because some kid saw Oculus advertise this wireless headset as a full featured headset. They don't know any better, so they get it for their birthday, or Christmas, or whatever it may be.

They then go to play their favorite VR games and realize...that it isn't a full fledged VR headset, that there are some severe limitations to it, and their disappointment goes through the roof.

I always felt bad last Christmas meeting kids with the Quest and having to tell them it's impossible to follow me to the world I'm going to, and that they're stuck in certain worlds that the Quest can run. They were always more sad that they had the Quest at that point, it's like being invited to a party and then being locked in one room and the part isn't happening in it.
