Is this going to kill me?

For what it’s worth I was also told it’s genetic and was almost as high as yours. I got it to normal ranges by taking 10g of psyllium husk 3x per day before meals. Mix it with a full glass of water.

I buy Organic India Whole Husk from Amazon since it has super low levels of lead compared to other brands.

Also 80g of oatmeal per day. Use either steelcut or rolled oats not instant since instant will spike your blood sugar.

Both, oats and psyllium husk are high in soluble fiber and soluble fiber is proven to lower cholesterol. Just those two things alone did it for me.

For high Triglycerides I use Carlson Elite EPA Omega-3s. It doesn’t contain DHAs which is what you don’t need with high cholesterol.

All this info I got from consumerlab.com. But you don’t have to get a membership since now you got it for free :-).

One thing that i’ll be adding to this mix is is a probiotic, specifically Lactobacillus reuteri. It’s well studied and provides good cholesterol lowering benefits.

Anyway you can pull up the studies on all of these.
