I don't think there's anything edgy-teenage-prickish about pointing out the long and storied history of the Catholic church's crimes against humanity, all perpetrated in the name of God. I'm not shitting on a random redditor's worldview, except by the coincidence that they align themselves with this evil group.

Organized religion in general is pretty fucked up, but Catholicism gave us the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, institutionalized child molestation, countless intentional misinterpretations of scriptures to justify greed, and an office that's supposed to be for a Christlike spiritual leader set in the middle of a gilded city full of worldly goods kept out of the hands of the poor.

But whatever, yeah I'm just being edgy lol.
