I think, but take this with a pinch of salt, that the guardian is implying the relationship between yourself and the unconscious is a positive thing for you.

For some people a relationship with the unconscious isn’t positive and leads to inflation, dissolution, they start thinking they’re special, enlightened and all that, they start getting lost in fantasies, there’s not enough separation, understanding, humility or boundaries – they’re not mature enough.

The unconscious appears as a guardian, which I take to mean – there can be a positive back and forth relationship there.

This is just my interpretation though.

It could mean something else. It could mean simply that consciousness is supported by the unconscious.

Being skeptical of your own interpretations is always very important. Lack of humility is always a disaster when you deal with the unconscious. Always be skeptical when dealing with this stuff (but open minded too!).

I think when synchronicities in your life happen this is also the unconscious nudging you to say – there’s more going on here! Reality is more than it seems! You can afford to go a little deeper!

But again, be skeptical! Some people have to go a little closer, some a little further away depending on their maturity and the ego always thinks it’s more mature than it actually is.
