FWIW, I closed on my house while my permit was processing, and had to update my address on my application. Really wasn't a big pain, and no effects with my application, permit came a few weeks ago.

To expand on it being a pain, I called the permit office before my new ID came, to inform them I moved. They made a huge todo about requiring the physical ID, and that I just had to come in person. So the ID comes, and I call them a week later, they make another huge todo about needing to get down there ASAP, as it had been a week already (10 day requirement, I didn't know).

Take the afternoon off, and head down there with my new ID. Go up to the permit office. Give them my name, and they ask for my new address, they write it on a sticky note, "well attach it to your file, kthanksbye". Didn't look at my ID to verify the address, or even verify who I was. Really fkin irritated me, if they're going to half ass it, might as well let me do it over the phone.
