I had no problems buying a new Tokyo Marui Glock 17 (just as long as you avoid Commiefornia)

This is a fantastic little GBB and for a total of $200 including the actual gun and 2 magazines shipped (in 4 days from Japan to the US), it was a great deal. I bought it off of Echigoya Airsoft and as long as you don't live near California you pay about $125 for the gun because they'll ship it through Houston or New York and it should have no problems getting seized. If you're in California or a neighboring state, it's $150 for the gun because they have to reroute it through Texas.

Now for an actual review, this gun shoots really nice out of the box on duster gas (I grabbed some keyboard air cleaner today just to try it out) but for Green Gas/Propane, there's a possibility that the plastic slide will crack overtime. Regardless the response is very snappy but I plan on upgrading the internals and getting a metal slide anyways. I normally use propane but this thing will run forever on duster gas. I was first skeptical of the plastic slide (frame is plastic real steel) but the polymer they used is of very high quality and doesn't disappoint. The TM mags are great and are pretty cheap on Echigoya. I've heard WE's work well but they don't necessarily have all the Glock trades. Speaking of trades, they're pretty great and authentic on the left side of the gun, but TM does leave their mark on the right. Of course, the Tokyo Marui hop up performs as expected and the FPS is nice even on duster (I don't have the exact numbers). The gun feels great in your hand and has a nice heavy weight. My only real complaint is the slide catch is a bit annoying to grip and I can't seem to be able to unload the BB in the chamber after I've chambered it (my 1911 doesn't give me that problem). Nevertheless this is one of the better Glock series of guns you can buy and if you're willing to spend the money on upgrades, the best Glock you can buy. And if you're worried about customs seizing your precious Tokyo Marui, just get it shipped it around Commiefornia.
