Im a little late to the party but:

This is my dads story from navy boot camp. This was probably in the 70’s and him and the class were standing in formation, and the navy DI was just absolutely reaming some kid for doing something dumb. Well another guy is standing next to them in formation has an uncontrollable urge to start laughing and after he starts laughing, the DI hits him in the gut, walks him over to a mirror (basically carrying him bc he cant breathe) and says “LAUGH IN THE FUCKING MIRROR”

This guy had to laugh at the top of lungs for about 2-3 hours whilst staring at himself in the mirror, whenever his laugh would kinda die down, the DI would scream at him and make him laugh louder.
