If you can't play an unusual character concept in a goddamn fantasy rpg, why play at all if you're going to be forced by others into playing existing stereotypes?

It's also hilarious that the proposed customization in the article is a "special snowflake" but is perfectly fine with other types of customization, even to the point of random speculation. Sounds like our friend here is fine with mechanical customization, but pooh-poohs it when it falls in the realm of RP, which defeats the point of reading an article in a blogpost series for Unusual Character Concepts.
