Halo 5 is a really good Halo game, but why does it also give me the least enjoyable moments I've ever had in a Halo game?

Ok. This is my last attempt. You are clearly not reading anything I am writing.

My definition of "good" clearly varies from yours... which is why I said it depends how you interpret it for yourself.

I don't have a definition. Where did you get my definition from? The only definition here is yours. You told me I need to "get good". I'm trying to establish why you think I'm bad at Halo.

"followed by getting spawned thrashed for the next 3." are you honestly going to try to talk your way out of this comment and spin it to you somehow enjoyed getting spawn thrashed... spare me kid

You're always going to get spawn thrashed on occasion. That will never change, and I hope it doesn't. It's part of Halo.

aka, not as good as they could be... which leaves room to "get good"

So enjoying my loses will make me "good" at Halo? I think I'm starting to understand your strange definition of good. I'm going to max my enjoyment and I'll be in the pro league in no time!

Yes, but "get better" makes more sense grammatically, but "get good" will suffice.

What would they need to improve on to get "better" at Halo? A +10k/d would pretty much mean they are a pro. Next time Snipedown doesn't enjoy a game, should should send him a "get good soon" card.

Well, i've already established the 2/3 is not "occasional"... so if you substitute "frequently" for it, yeah. but again "get a better job" would make more sense... but you understand at this point.

I don't understand your point at all. I also never said 2/3. That is something you said. I said that when ever I have a really close game, which is fairly rare in H5, I then have a few thrashes after. So a close game is 1/15, then I am getting thrashed in about 1/6. A high is always followed by a few low lows. For example, -------------------^_--------- (enjoyable: "-", high: "", low: "_"), Very few of my games are lows.

No, I tell them to change what they have the ability to, and find a way to circumvent the prevalent issues until they can be solved more permanently. Getting a new job is something that a person has the ability to do. If you are referring to your negative halo experiences I can recommend playing with a full group/team, using communication, and having strategies in place that your team can employ at will. Practicing and warming up prior to getting all sweaty helps as well.

But you told me that the way to fix my occasional unejoyment of loses/warzone farming/etc, which are often out of my control due to matchmaking, was to simply "get good soon". So if I stop solo searching and play with a team, I will then be a "good" Halo player? What if my k/d goes down and I play badly? Again, your definition of being "good" at Halo is really odd.

In closing, I don't experience "getting spawned thrashed for the next 3" ever, so you do need to "get good" in some area of your gameplay, attitude, expectations, etc.

My gameplay is ok, my attitude is great and my expectations are fairly low. Again, I think you are missing the whole point. Whether I have 1 or 1000 unenjoyable moments over the next 6 months, it doesn't matter. The only point I was trying to make was that if bad moments do occur in H5, they seem to hit harder then any previous title.

Thanks for your time, although you never really explained why you think I bad at Halo 5. I guess there's a reason your comment has negative points.

I will continue to spread your message that being "good" at Halo has nothing to do with performance and stats, but to do with how much you enjoy your loses. I will also send you a "get well good soon card"
