Happy 21st birthday to me!

I am not going to name my county, but they require in person interviews with a detective, a notarized note, they interview your boss and they require a renters agreement or mortgage papers, and a couple years ago they denied the fire-chief at one of my townships fire department's because 20 years ago when he was in high-school, his mother passed away and the school made him meet with the guidance councilor which constitutes talking to a mental health professional under the forum to submit mental health records. He decided to fight it, but he spent a decent amount of money fighting it. Also when someone applies for a FID in my town, they need 3 references and they send out a forum with 14 questions, some of them are like, "has this person known to be drunk" or "has this person known to commit minor crimes such as traffic infringements."

New Jersey allows the police to just do whatever they want to prohibit people from owning a firearm. NJ law states police agencies can only take 30 days, well in your case it took that long but in my township as well as many other according to njhunter it can take over a year to process and if you do not call all of the time police agencies will take as long as they want.
