I hate Ubisoft for turning this franchise into fantasy. I've lost all my interest thanks to this.

Between the guy with toxic grenades, the guy with incendiary arrows, the woman who interrogates and kills her enemy, the guy with toxic darts on the ground, the bear traps, etc, it's impossible to entertain the idea that these are even remotely faithful to the books OR the video game series. This game got around the AUTHOR'S own rules by saying this is all "a highly advanced training simulation" and nobody is actually ever killed. It's just dumb.

I love the "less than 5 argument" especially, because besides overlooking the obviously hyperbole of saying "half the operators are war criminals", it somehow is meant to downplay the fact that 8% of your elite counter terrorism task force are war criminals.
