OK, so this is rock bottom for you. You have made a terrible mistake but this will be the lowest you will sink. Today you turn things around. You need to believe that.

Since you can't turn steam hats back into real money, if you have rent to pay or food to buy you need to work out how to do that. Ask parents for help or take out a small loan if you need to.

As far as TF2 goes, many people will tell you to uninstall etc but you can still have fun with the game, you just need to separate that from this compulsion to open crates.

What I suggest is:

Step 1: Don't open any more crates (obviously). Change your password if you need to, or remove your payment method, as this will give you a market cooldown, so you have time to think/calm down.

Step 2: Sell everything you got from those crates as soon as they are marketable. Then, whatever money you get from the sales, use that to buy yourself a new unusual. Even if you can only afford the crappiest, ugliest hat, buy it and wear it proudly as a reminder of what happened and how you turned things around. That hat will end up meaning more to you than the one you gave away.
