The problem here is you don't fucking read.

1. The guy is stuck at GR 28
2. It's his third wizard RIP
3. He plays solo local (so I assume Season is out of the question)

Therefore,

1. He DOESN'T GIVE A SHIT about speed GR70 and pushing high GRs, the important thing for him is getting past GR28 safely
2. He DOESN't GIVE A SHIT about all the ancient legendary sets, he's not very experienced at getting to GR 60 / T13, it's completely new territory for him

I was talking about BASE damage mitigation compared to other classes. That means a Wizard with just yellow items. Wizard doesn't have the bonus 30% damage reduction that some classes have, it doesn't have pets like WD (or DH), ... the only meaningful thing it has is the energy shield buffer, which won't refresh if you keep taking damage.

If the guy was playing online seasonal, with access to boosting, group farming, seasonal journey free set, etc. I wouldn't have said "Wizard is the least suited class for HC" ** You can give generic advice about wizards or you can tailor your response to OP's needs, and that's what I did and you didn't, and you were arrogant about it.**
