It’s funny how they keep pushing the series S on to people more than the series X. Almost as if they want people to move away from physical media, AKA being able to actually own what they buy.

You don’t own any digital purchases you make on Xbox. They can take away your access at anytime, without reason too. In a blink of an eye, and entire account, hundreds of dollars of games, gone.

Someday when Xbox shuts down their servers, alll gone. But not the disks and physical consoles. Those will last as long as the physical objects do.

In other words, buy an Xbox series x if given the chance, it’ll be worth a lot more to your grandkids than your current Xbox account that probably won’t exist in 20 years.
