I see what you are saying. Yes, I agree and I understand that this is a contribution-based feature.

However, my argument is not about that, my argument is that we (the players who invest time and possibly real money) are getting poor conversions just to unlock low-level buildings.

Now imagine that the resource requirement increases as the buildings in the Clan Capital level up. This progression becomes significantly slower as players progress through the Clan Capital, which is frustrating because yet again there is another feature in the game that low-level players do not get to enjoy.

Not to mention that 95% of players are not at TH14 yet. This means all of that player base will have to compromise their resources if they want to contribute to the clan castle.

I think that the Clan Points will help us lower level players to progress through the game. But we only have 6 builders and for example, in my situation, I have filled up all of my storages and all of my builders are busy doing upgrades. So I have 10mill gold and elixir, as well as 200,000 dark elixir sitting in my storages doing nothing whilst I wait a week for the six upgrade timers to finish.

I speak as a near-maxed TH11, although I still have a lot to go.

I would say that this new update is definitely welcome, but seeing its effects on the game will take a few weeks as raids get gradually introduced.

The only max level gameplay that I've had the joy of experiencing is because I have a Level 9 builder hall, so I have the Otto and I have a few options for attacking. But I do not find the limited troop variety and lack of Builder Hall spells to make that half of the game really boring. I am only playjng it so I can max it out and be ready for distant updates that may benefit my main village. But it doesn't look like there is anything planned for the Builder base so I don't know why I bother so much...

Now you can see that the Clan capital is not really the problem, because the clan capital is a really cool idea, but the majority of the player base will not get to enjoy its features and it will take a while for us to feel the improvement to the game.

Those progression related ideas have always been a weak point of the game, everyone who is not at a high level will agree. Updates like the Clan Capital and the clan games are an attempt to address these issues, but I believe we need to see more interesting features to the game that do not provide latent relief to the majority of us- that is, the upgrade timers such as research times and build times, or seasonal events like clan games.
