Hooray for ugly quilts!

I (almost) totally disagree with you, but I get your sentiment. Not everything needs to be perfect or match perfectly. That I agree with. I think your perspective is a good dissent of the “everything needs to look instagrammable” obsession a lot of people have. I just still think when you make quilts for others you should take their personal taste and style into account. Not everyone appreciates an ugly quilt like you do. And I also think quilts should be used (except for maybe wall hangings) regardless of if they are ugly or not. But if you want to drown in ugly mismatched quilts, I will support you 100%. I will just not be asking you to make me a quilt ;)
