Use them as sources of unlimited wealth and immortality. Get the money fruit seed plant it. Get super green thumb on your main sim. Splice the tree use the roots of Midas's tree on your roses and apple trees. Get the fruits of there labor. More money fruit seeds. Not good enough. Make a PERFECT apple tree . Give it the spliced genes of the money tree . Plant perfect money trees all over your yard. Now your rolling in dough. Kick your children with no aspiration out with some homeless man you let live with you. Make more children. But potions of youth from your young children. Become a god in all stats. Athletic aspiration means no accidents. Live the life of a semi cheating cynical God. The easier way is with the get to work dlc. Instead of making loads of kids you only need 2 . Same process as before but you can actually keep the kids. With the dlc you can clone many items including potions and money fruit. Live a happy immortal life while watching your world perish around you slowly.

TL;DR Sims is a very balanced game.
