Other people have reported no issues with games bought from secondary sources, but for me, these days I'm lazy, and I want a path of least resistance when it comes to the Sims so I buy from a single source, Origin / EA directly. I'll spend the extra $ to avoid a conversation about the legitimacy of my game with an EA CS rep.

That being said, it's a fair amount of money, so I'll only buy them on sale or as bundles after I've thought about the GP for a few weeks or months.

I'd also hesitate because Amazon is known for mixing sources so you're liable to get fakes, and the actual EA listing isn't on sale so this will be from someone other than EA. This listing is for a mailed code, so I think the worst case is that you're mailed a case with no code or a code that's already been used, but oh man that would make me feel bad.
