How do I fix this?

So you’re saying that there are 2 screws holding the cylinder in place, and they are most likely loose or one is missing? There are 8 doors with this set up, and 5 of them are having this issue. I’ve already changed out most of the indoor cylinders to Sargent, and would like to change some of the outside as well, and you’re saying that I need some type of plate to hold it in place? I had some on the inside that you just screw in and add the anchor screw.

If I take the panic bar off of the back will I be able to see what you’re talking about, or will I have to disassemble the back to get to it? I’ve only fixed that kind without the lock at the top.

Another problem I’ve run into is there is nothing holding the screws in place. I had one bar that fell off the door entirely. What is supposed to be holding everything in place? I used some plastic anchor screws, but those won’t last forever.

I’m not a locksmith, but when I saw the cost of fixing and changing some of these commercial locks I told myself I’m going to do as much of this myself as I can.
