for 3 days total and full insurance (you need a credit card w 7500USD available balance to decline the insurance) it was £200. i think w basic insurance it was closer to £125. i booked through easycar.

i’m from the UK so was on the “wrong side” of the car (and road) but really no problems. driving through the city was admittedly a little hectic but totally manageable. ended up driving the whole 8hrs there with only a couple of stops. went on the highway, through the desert over the mountains and up through the national park to get there so trialled all road types - minus a few odd cows, some pot holes and steep U bends it was an amazing drive and very easy !
