Long post, many may disapprove, but I had to write this one.

I'll start by saying, like everybody else I too love ATLA, was a huge fan of the story and characters of ATLA. I got to know about Legend Of Korra a few months back, and finished for the first time a few days back, post which already rewatched it 3 times.

I personally love Legend of Korra more than its predecessor, for the following reasons.

It is is a fast paced, mature series compared to ATLA. The story writing is fab, the writers did a splendid job on the evolution of every character, be it Korra or others surrounding her. You'll see so much change in most of the characters going from Book1 to Book4.

Unlike in ATLA, where the mega villain's aim was world dominance, villains in LOK are mature, have much political angle, and at times their motive seems fair, hence a very strong story/writing !

Next the artwork, animation is top notch, I feel, way ahead of ATLA. Some shots are so spectacular, I wish to post them, but don't wanna spoil the show for you.

Jeremy Zuckerman's masterpiece soundtracks ! My fav tracks are in Book3 and Book4.

My opinion, overall, Legend Of Korra is a level beyond ATLA.
