It’s all prospective. Take what they say with a grain of salt. Some sloot who has seen a ton of dicks could have a different opinion. Maybe 7 seems average to her. Some have no clue how long 7 inches really is lol! Another woman whose only been with a handful of guys could think 7” is massive because maybe she’s used to 4-5”. Plus. Some woman like to play mind games and maybe they could be lying. Try to make you feel inadequate or jealous for some reason. In my experience (I played on a bunch of hockey teams and have seen a ton of dicks in the shower myself) also my group of buddies talk pretty openly about this stuff. I’d say 7 isn’t extremely rare for guys who fuck a lot. Guys with this size are going to themselves out more. A lot of my friends are decently hung. For most regular woman who arnt’ really promiscuous 7” is more then enough. You won’t get a reaction every time but some will be very pleasantly surprised.
