Just need to inject myself here because circumcision as mentioned by some comments here is not the only solution and is probably really unnecessary. The discomfort you are experiencing is natural for someone who is uncircumcised pre-puberty, which makes me wonder how old the OP is and he is just now discovering this issue. The skin naturally starts to roll back after things like boners and some self discovery start to occur at whatever age puberty starts for an individual, maybe even a bit before that. Nobody told me how to go about it while growing up. My dad was circumcised like the majority of the country, and me and my brothers never discussed our experiences with it because it never came up and I’m assuming we each figured it out for ourselves. The point is is that it’s a natural process and takes care of itself. I never heard of this so called “phimosis” and will probably Google definition it after this, and circumcising based on the OP’s description is again, unnecessary. I’m really wondering more about those of you who ended up getting that surgery done because after a certain age it’s not some mild surgery, and I highly doubt the rest of the world which is for the majority uncircumcised ever ran into that issue either…
