Yes there are video game women but not many that are complicated. I'd extend you the credit that Elizabth, Ellie and Max are complex (personally i haven't cared much for the Witchers characters, I know a lot of people do but not me) but you have to at least recognize that there should be more experimentation with them in regards to story telling. I'm not going to say that it's "ruining gaming" but it is untapped potential and dismissing that is more ignorant than anything else.
