I get that bisexual people in a relationship with the opposite sex are still bisexual, but when it's the first lgbt major character in a franchise that has been running for 13 years now with 24 movies and 3 tv shows, you confirm his sexuality in a throwaway line and then pair him with someone who is practically his twin, but hey gays in mainstream media is not profitable yet.

On top of that they had been acting like it's a big achievement and they needed a gold medal for hollow virtue signalling. They made a big deal out of the gender fluidity thing, then pretty much contradicted it later in the episodes.
