What are your favourite video game franchise(s)? Why?

Sonic: Sonic Adventure is the first game I ever played and I just love the blue blur and all his freinds and all the crazy adventures he goes on. I have hope for the next game. I know that SEGA isn't perfect, but I trust them.

Mega Man: I love the fun stories and all the fun action - platforming, and I love all the good spin off titles. However I have a minor bone to pick with Capcom for not releasing more games for over a decade

Silent Hill: Silent Hill 2 is the best horror game period and I love the story, the music and the atmosphere. FucKonami for turning it into a Pachinko Machine and cancelling Silent Hills

Metal Gear: Kojima knows how to tell a wonderful story with mostly loveable characters, amazing stories and plot and brilliant gameplay. Again, FucKonami for Metal Gear Survive ($10 save slot) and another pachinko machine.

Final Fantasy: One of the best RPG franchises of all time, all having unique standalone games that have something for everyone. There are a few bumps here and there, yet Square still does a pretty good job at it

Resident Evil: Like with Silent Hill, another good horror game. Sure Capcom had dropped the ball here and there, but I love most of the games
