I never said nor impied that just because it's for kids it has to be dumb at all. I even state that DBS' writing is not as good as DBZ's writing was. My point is that grown ups whining about a children's series is futile.

You provide an interesting anecdote, but I have witnessed people online who have gotten introduced to the franchise with DBS. In fact, I have read many who got introduced through DBS Broly, and have since been making their way with previous content.
