How do y’all find motivation when your cute baby wants to snuggle all day?

Like everyone else said you only regret the lost cuddles. I tried to keep up with our tidy home with my first baby and I wish I’d snuggled instead. By the 2nd baby I babywore all the time. The 3rd baby didn’t like to baby wear and preferred facing out while being held, I pushed chores off and it didn’t really matter as nobody was coming over (Covid lockdown).

Eventually baby was able to chill in the high chair watching me as I cleaned, real quick clean ups with lots of narrating on my part to keep baby from fussing. Which worked some days and not others.

If all you can manage is a quick wipe down awesome!! If less than that still Awesome!! You will have time to get things done in a few months, it won’t always be this way and the baby won’t alert be this small. My little guy is 14weeks and is going through a growth spurt right now so all he wants to do is nurse. My husband is gone for work for another week and my house is messy. I got up early to clean what I could before pumping, but guess what the baby woke up and woke my toddler up too. So I had 2 tired fussy babies I just nestles back to sleep and am holding the baby as I pump. It’s not always like this, but I enjoy the snuggles and kisses.
