HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC Is $250 a good price?

Total budget and country of purchase: $400 USA
Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications to your requirements for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Preferably portable and reliable for writing.
How important is weight to you? Weight's not overly important. Just something sturdy but portable.
Which OS do you require? Windows, Linux, Mac. Looking for Windows because my budget can't afford a Mac right now.
Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Something around 15'.
**Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? Just writing and maybe light gaming, such as WoW.
If you're gaming (leave blank if you put N/A above...), do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Just WoW at decent settings.
Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable business grade build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Good keyboard.
Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. As stated above, I'm looking at my friends HP Pavilion 15 with the already noted specs, just trying to get a sense for if the $250 is a good price.
