The 4TB size might have been important 5 years ago, now it's SSD size easily (there are even much bigger but these are reasonably priced). To say that it won't affect "most people" as in "most people" wouldn't even need a hard drive is a non-statement, it will affect everyone needing a hard drive that's considerably above (decently priced) SSD sizes, which is anyone who has more than a few TBs of data. That they're saving their own home movies, porn or try to work out how the universe work at CERN or this one with the black holes and so on it's kind of irrelevant, for sure it's a much better use than a pyramid scheme.
