He has suffered from an eating disorder for many years and is known to have gone through long periods of eating very little or fasting most days of the week.

A lot of the changes we saw to his jawline and cheeks as he became a man were mostly not plastic surgery but due to his very low body fat percentage.

This kind of starving yourself really takes a toll on your body and especially your heart and can very commonly lead to heart failure later in life. This is especially true because most anorexic don’t get enough electrolytes because they are not eating.

Anorexia/starvation is way, way worse on your health than most states of obesity and I think MJ’s eating disorder would have killed before dying of old age.
