I think I’ve hit the chess “wall”

I watch lots of YouTube videos and studied openings but I don’t feel like it’s helped that much.

.

how do I move on and see real progress?

Do something other than watching youtube and studying openings. A 1500 Lichess blitz rating is still below average.

Make sure you're learning actively. Watching youtube videos and studying openings can help, but really only if you're doing it properly. If you're just watching the Chessbrah channel when you're bored and trying to memorize lines in openings, you're probably not learning a lot. If you're watching instructive videos, something like JB's Climbing The Rating Ladder series, and studying the ideas and themes behind your chosen openings, you could be learning a decent amount. If you're doing the latter, and not seeing any progress for a while, it's time to do something else.

Play slower games. Really think through each move. Analyze your games afterwards and identify common mistakes. Take more time when you do tactics training. 1780 Lichess puzzle rating after a year of playing is fairly poor. Again, spend time thinking. Don't move until you're certain that you've found the winning line. Make sure you are confident in basic endgames. Set your seeks so that you're only playing people better than you.
