'If the Brits want to leave, let them leave,' say EU leaders

It seems to me like Germany doesn't give a flying fuck about the EU beyond the elements of the EU that are important to Germany. Mainly an open market, with a common currency, that Germany is able to dominate.

Yeah, because we "created" the EU only to dominate Europe. Because we had nothing better to do back then in our ruined cities. /s

You know why people like you think that? Because Germany is a lot in the media when it comes to European politics. One could say the (very) weak positions of the other big countries (France, GB, Italy) are a major factor here. Negotiations in Minsk about Ukraine? Merkel and Hollande go, where was Cameron?

The German gouvernment has always been reluctant, and is still doing so today.

Does Germany take the security concerns of anyone in the EU seriously? Because to me it seems that they want to work with Russia so long as it benefits them, even if that allows Russia to apply greater political pressure to E. / Central Europe.

I don't know, do we support allied militaries with logistical, educational aid and intelligence? Do we form not even cooperations, but also merge our divisions together with neighbooring countries? Do we provide support for legit NATO operations and UN missions? Do we negotiate between conflicting parties (for example middle east, Russia/Scandinavia) to help solving them?

Yes, we do.

The only reason why you think Germany is too reluctant in this area is because of this:

Has Germany volunteered to increase its military readiness. To station troops on NATO borders, to deter further Russian aggression?

I apologise for my country for not going the American way with guns blazing as soon as there is a conflict appearing. You know, we kinda learned our lesson of the Cold War which is: Talk with Russia and keep the link to it. We don't need to station Leopards in Estonia just to provoke Russian counter actions. These are mind games nobody needs. Both parties know that they can fuck each other up.

Has Germany taken seriously the concerns of other EU nations regarding their ability to control their borders, or to sustain an influx of migrants and refugees?

No German official ever said "we let them all in, period". There are still talks about a possible compromise. Stop acting as if Germany just lets these refugees in to "dominate Europe" or some BS like that.

Does Germany want to regulate its massive trade imbalances to improve the inequality situation across the EU, rather than just strangling out competition to German companies?

Does the US do that with Canada? You guys got a simiiar trade agreement don't you? Of course you didn't, because it would make no fucking sense. What should we do? Scrapping Volkswagen and Siemens just because Fiat and Nokia can't keep up? Tell our workers that they lose their jobs because the French are not efficient enough.

Does Germany have any intent of allowing their banks to take a hit, when those banks made bad loans to other EU nations? Or would they prefer those nations to nationalize their debt, and to socialize the losses that resulted from the bad decisions of banks and burrowers?

The entire banking system is faulty and needs a restart, in every capitalistic system. Banks and big companies have way too much power. The best example if the country you're living in. The gap between poor and rich will eventually grow until it can't anymore.

But Germany needs to actually make an effort to fulfill its commitments, something which they aren't currently doing.

What the heck are you actually talking about? What commitments are we violating/missing? Name me five, and i name you at least 15 other countries that are doing the same or even worse.
