If you could forget one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?

One time, many, many years ago, I was entering the world of acting and had a film in post-production. As I mentioned it during small talk with my local Iowa dentist, he told the hygienist to come get him when she was done cleaning. She did, and he came back with a big book full of cosmetic dental surgery he'd personally done. He said, "Now, I can do something like this for you here for about $2,000. Go out to LA, and you're looking at $10,000 upwards." I asked, "Is there anything wrong with my teeth." And he said, "Well, there's some slight overcrowding on the bottom half."

I'd never noticed it before. In all my years looking in the mirror, I'd never noticed the overcrowding. It truly isn't that bad, and was probably just an attempt at a cash grab by him, but he stuck it in my head, and I've been self-conscious since.
