If Man Utd lose this weekend, they'll finish the season with their lowest ever points total in the Premier League

I wouldn't say i want him to stay but i have no issues with him staying if he did. The reason is simply that i can forgive any wrongs he may have done, same with the players. I don't think any mistakes were made on purpose and i think it doesn't all come down to the manager.

I think at best you could make a case for us being the 4th best side in the league but that's if you really tried, i wouldn't say we deserve top 4 on paper, and that's being demonstrated with the results too, i think the issue is that we've been playing boring football whilst sitting in 5th but LVG hasn't underachieved at all nore has he overachieved, we're sitting were we belong. All this talk of 'We're Manchester fucking United' like the name, history and reputation somehow entitles us to demand trophies, it's so self entitled and it's very frustrating.

Whatever mistakes LVG has made, i'm happy to swipe them under the rug and for him and the players to do there best to improve and see if he can finish on a high before he bows out, the downsides to bringing in a new manager is that any work that LVG has started won't be finished, it'll be another fresh start with no guarantee that will work either. The money that LVG has spent will be even more of a waste if those players end up leaving or not playing under a new manager, also just because you spend 250m doesn't mean instant success.

I like to look at the bigger picture, i don't like sacking managers, i don't like just giving up when the going gets tough, i'd like us all to finish what we started when LVG was appointed, not everything is black and white. How do we know what LVG is telling the players? do we know for a fact he is the reason we are playing dull football? are fans really so naive to think that him and only him is the reason we are where we are? he's created world class players and won leagues everywhere he's been, did he just become a bad manager?

In my eyes there's absolutely no reason that if LVG stays that with a couple of good, well thought out signings that we could make a strong challenge for the title next season, imagine if he left us title winners, all of a sudden that 250m, that missing out on top 4, the defeats to lower league sides will all have accumulate towards us winning the title with a foundation there to go on and dominate again, basically i'm saying be patient, if he stays let's wait and see, judge him on a season on season basis, whatever happens this season and if he stays lets see what him and the players can do next season.

All sacking and hiring managers has ever done is give teams short term success, if we won't to dominate for another 20 then we have to do without silverware for a bit, you don't get that back overnight.
