If men looked the same but didn't have dicks, I honestly wouldn't care.

Invalidating trans men and asexual people isn't respectful. Saying "Real men are white, but there's nothing wrong with liking black men" doesn't somehow make it "respectful."

I personally disagree that you can't bond without sex, but it seems obvious to me that this is /his/ opinion on his own personal preference.

Except that isn't what it was. He didn't simply say "I like dick" he said "you can't be a real man without a dick!"

It is implied he means for himself.

No, it isn't.

Not that deep. You don't need to add hate to his comment.

Ah, the typical "hurrdurr it's not transphobic!" on obvious transphobia. It must be nice being so fucking privileged that you get to shit on other minorities and treat them badly when they point it out.

I don't think its fair to assume what he meant in that different context

I didn't assume shit. He literally said "you aren't a real man unless you have a dick." Would it be okay if a straight guy said "gay people aren't real people and they shouldn't have rights!" It's just his "preference" so that makes it okay, right?

It's not accurate to assume he meant to hate on asexuals just because he may have not thought about it at the time.

Just because he didn't think of it doesn't suddenly make it okay. If bigotry isn't pointed out, nothing changes. But hey, "I got mine!!!" right, so fuck everyone else?
