Had Maddox just given Dick a simple acknowledgement in the final episode of Biggest Problem and not (allegedly) threaten to blacklist anybody that went to Dick's show, I doubt that any of this stuff would be happening. Dick's definitely stirring shit up now, but the ball was in Maddox's hands initially. He EASILY could have gone the artistic differences route. He chose to set off this shitstorm instead.

And yes, while Dick is trashing Maddox every two minutes, he's at least showing people his full perspective on things. Maddox was purposely being very vague and doing this stupid passive-aggressive shit where he implies that Dick supports rape. If he's going to say shit like that, he should just jump in the fucking pool and offer fans his complete perspective on the situation. If not that then he should say absolutely NOTHING about the situation. He chose the third option instead; where he just says "Dick supports rape" and goes fucking radio silent afterwards. This tells the fans NOTHING about the situation in question and the ONLY thing it does is fuck Dick over; which ironically is the thing he said he didn't want to do.
