I'm just feeling weird today

I’m not saying Doordash is perfect, it’s far from it, but I think some of you are expecting too much from it. Every delivery you deliver is up to you. You work on your time and whenever you want. You answer to no one. No annoying co workers and you decide what you want to do.

As far as support. I’ve learned you’re better off texting them. Usually it’s quicker and it’s easier to understand because support on the phone usually has a heavy accent.

Are we putting a lot of miles on our car? Yeah. Should base pay be higher? Yeah. But once you learn your area and do some due diligence it’s really not that hard to navigate making decent/good money. I’d take this over going back to construction any day of the week.

At the end of the day I don’t think this was never meant to be a full time thing. Personally, I do it full time because I was just sick of working a 9-5 and doing jobs that I legitimately hated.

You want benefits but we’re independent contractors. That’s not how it works.
