for those who deliver, what amount do you consider a good tip?

I've only ever ordered from doordash, but I've seen the $2 per mile thing mentioned and have tried to stick with that.

I'm curious if you mean that as in for one direction?

I usually order from a couple places both about 2.6 miles away and on a normal day will tip $6 which seemed reasonable to me but I don't really know how much the normal DD pay is for my orders.

I've also seen a couple posts here about doordash not clearly showing the full pay at first so that has made me think that sometimes people don't know how much or if I'm tipping at all. If I'm tipping $6 and the order is $4 pay(random guess I don't know) for a total of $10, does the order just say $6 minimum or something?
