That's selling it short, too. She's been getting ready for public office since way before she married Clinton. She went to Yale Law, was part of campaigns, had student activism on her belt, was part of academia...She's like the prototypical politician, if you could make one in a lab. Which isn't a good thing considering the crop, and doesn't mean she's a good one, but still she checks every box.

If she had never met him she most likely would still be where she is right now. Bill didn't make her. At best she used him to improve her standing, but I believe he actually set her back. Someone like her, with her resume, as determined and calculating and with no scruples would have gotten to Congress way faster than she eventually did.

The weak "she's only there because she fucked the president" criticism fails to respect the toughness of the adversary. By the way, I'm no Trump supporter. She's just much more than a First Lady. She's a mixture of Frank and Claire Underwood in one person. She's been wanting this and getting ready for it her entire life.
