in a fair debate:

- fans of naruto are free to interpret whatever feats, in-verse statements , results from powerscaling and fan calculations as optimistically as they like

Kyuubi can destroy the universe as stated in the databooks whose "world" can be translated into "universe" (also society but we aren't lowballing here guys)

there's a reason why I always try my best to only quote the "official" vizmedia translations of any manga , because only for these I can be kinda certain they were made by professional translators , who had no good reason to mistranslate a manga (e.g. for the purpose of wanking characters for use in debates like here). So if they translate whatever orochimaru said as a "universe" (they also refer to it as a "space" orochimaru created, somewhere in his mind or wherever this scene happens when he was trying to absorb sasuke).

naruto characters often have, what I like to call a

" Mind-Space " - an "inner" universe / 3-dimensional space or dimension which exists within their minds , for example naruto also has his own "mind space" ( that dimension where he communicates with the Nine-Tails Fox "inside" of him ), and many other characters have a " Mind-Space " , too.
